Schön gemachte App zur Vorhersage der Windverhältnisse der kommenden Tage. Ideal für den Wassersport: Als Windfinder für Segler und zur Warnung für Motorboote.

Die App Windy ist einfach Spitze Leicht zu bedienen, Grafisch animierte Windrichtung. Habe die App jetz einen Monat lang getestet und mit anderen Apps welche auch Windgeschwindigkeit und Richtung anzeigen verglichen und muss sagen das sie sich von den Werten mit den anderen deckt mit dem Plus es grafisch zu untermalen. Einfach Top !!!

Geniale App! Was noch das Sahnehäupchen wäre, wenn man noch die Höhe angeben könnte, in der man den Wind betrachten möchte.

Die Vorhersage ist sehr oft nicht zutreffend und daher beim Bootfahrten nicht zu gebrauchen .

Alles was man braucht und sehr zuverlässig!

Es gibt tatsächlich noch Apps die einfach nur UNGLAUBLICH gut sind und NICHTS kosten! Die App hat einfach alles was man braucht und ist einfach zu bedienen. Einsame Spitze... Danke dafür!

Gut funktionierende App mit zuverlässigen Angaben. Auch für Bootsfahrer geeignet die den Wind (Wellen) meiden wollen!! Die App wäre sogar bares Geld wert !

Funktioniert, als zusätzliche Vorhersage gut zu gebrauchen.

Das Gute ist die stündliche Übersicht der Windverteilung mit der Stärke dazu.

Wird zuverlässig weiterentwickelt. Schöne Anzeigen des Winds.

Endlich mal die richtige App fürs Windsurfen!!! Bin sehr zufrieden mit der guten Datenbasis, dem super Userinterface und das Ganze ohne Werbung. Vielen Dank!

I like the App so I decided to buy the Lifetime license. I need the PRO version now s I spent $200. Unfortunately after I paid and transaction has been accepted I still do not have access to Pro features. If I want to open any PRO tab - I 'm getting the same offer - to buy PRO version. How many times they want me to pay????

Can’t figure out how to cancel my subscription before the free trial ends

I CAN NOT ZOOM OUT OF THE RADAR, I ACCIDENTLY ZOOMED IN AND LITERALLY CAN NOT ZOOM BACK OUT! I DELETED THE APP AND REDOWLOADED IT AND IT WAS STILL. ZOOMED. IN. OMG.

They charge a premium to use the “best model” of weather forecast and once I payed for the subscription it ended up being that the “best model” was one of the ones that was already free, and they have a separate app with an additional premium to see depth charts when I feel that should be already included especially if they are targeting mostly boating and water sports, this is still not a one stop shop, disappointed especially either the high price tag.

Detailed Forecast akes so long to load and then it kills the App when it loads. Latest version of app and iOS. Just paid a yearly subscription as well. No option for table view of forecast like other weather apps. Overall very disappointing experience

I sail, sport fish, and surf. Windy.app is always the first place I look for data. The new weather forecast is a great addition.

Overall, this is a great app for anybody wanting a good weather app. I purchased the app and all the features only because Facebook stated this was a fishing app and it wasn’t until after I made my payment and downloaded the app that I found out it was a Weather app Much better than any other Weather app that I have ever had on my phone. I just don’t need the weather that bad customer service was amazing.

In app purchases should mean you can buy features to add to a basic application. THIS IS NOT THAT. Instead you launch the app, answer very well posed questions and then, Enter 7 day trial which will convert to automatic billing. It is a weather app, I will not know if it is good in seven days. No thank you.

Good weather app but was advertised as a detailed fishing app. Not finding the fishing details advertised. Trying to cancel and get refund but can’t find any way to contact anyone.

With so many competing weather apps pulling data from the same data sources, I guess one has to create an overly complicated app user interface to be able to justify charging $164.99 per year. Check out Predict Wind , simple, useful and free.

I am finding this app to be the most accurate for flight planning.

the rating is for the absolute lack of customer support if you need it. password reset doesn't work. locked out of my account. email listed for support bounces back and then i was charged 169.00 when i already had a paid subscription!!!!

#1 App for me anytime I am on the water!

I've downloaded the app, been charged 25 and 14 dollars. Can't find support contact info, app says I don't exist, cant sign in. Not happy, looks good on paper. Just not $40 worth at this point.

This app is not what I thought it would be. It is hard to navigate and I haven’t used any of its information to help me. I tried to contact them through email and cancel my subscription but haven’t received any response. No customer service whatsoever.

Stay away from this one. I’ve already been billed 45 dollars and I can’t get them off my credit card account

Opted for free trial and accepted offer to be notified when trial period was ending, but first notification of any kind was billing for annual plan. Not impressed with the app, either.

NOAA Wind, Tides and Waves was that perfect experience :)

Great weather resource

Seems like a cool app, but 5 minutes after I downloaded it, I couldn’t re-open it. It would force quit every time. I also would like the opportunity to see the free version before being forced into a trial of the pro version.

Not worth the money. They charged me $160 before I could cancel. I won’t renew.

this ad from your app is in very poor taste. The pop up shows yes in red and no in blue. The average user will not read any of this and say “no” I don’t want premium. When they select “no” Then the app tries to charge you for a $60/year subscription. Only for the user to realize the wording and coloring of the options were used to deceive the user. Im disappointed in your advertising team, and I urge you to reconsider how you advertise, because I can assure you now I will definitely not pay for a subscription.

Well worth the premium paid version if one is a boater.

I bought a lifetime membership expecting routing for boats. I found I need another sister app for that. It was like I was baited and then I need to switch. So I am going back to Windy .com as they have routing for boats. I have asked how to get refund no reply yet.

Trying to Charge my account with me not even having access to anything. Don’t even know where to go to stop it. Stay away from this site

I have used Windy on my iPad for some time. I recently wrote a review in the iOS App Store (5*) and apparently got a developer response. I got a notification about that on my Mac. Clicked on the notification in hopes of being able to read the developer response. The App Store launched but no connection so I searched for the Windy app on the Mac and downloaded it. Launching involves a series of questions mostly irrelevant to me. Then before I can run the app I have to commit to paying for it. Since I already pay on my iPad and that is where I use the app it is senseless for me to pay again on my Mac. It seems that the developer would allow desktops and iOS devices on the same account. Without that the Mac app is of no value to me. I still don’t know how to read the developer response on my iPad.

At this time I find it Outstanding , and most accurate. Keep up working on this app. Please add more.

When an app is listed as having in-app purchases, this should be in addition to the basic functions of the app. Having someone be able to download an app without paying, going through a preferences sequence, then saying, choose your subscription is false advertising. Why let me download the app if I can’t use of its basic functions?

App is pretty Accurate for fishing in the Florida Keys

Great functionality but there’s too much uneditable information constantly bombarding the user.

I used the app a couple times and it was alright, just not what I was looking for. Had then forgotten I had it for a few months and saw I had a bill from it again so I went to cancel the subscription and deleted the account. Next month they still took out payment! And then again a few months later!

I receive requests multiple times a week to spend dollars to upgrade. The app isn’t that great. I tried to stop my subscription before the annual renewal and was unable to do so. The app makes it very hard to stop paying. It seems that I may have to cancel the credit card to stop the app from taking my money.
